This typeface is a slanted serif with gently flared stroke endings and softly bracketed terminals that give letters a sculpted, calligraphic feel. Strokes show moderate thick–thin modulation with smooth transitions rather than abrupt contrasts, and curves are drawn with a continuous, pen-like rhythm. Uppercase forms are open and classical, while the lowercase features lively italics with single-story a and g, a compact ear on g, and a long, curling descender on y that adds motion to text. Serifs are not sharp, blocky slabs; instead they taper and widen subtly at the ends, creating a dark–light texture that stays even across words.

It suits editorial and book contexts where a refined italic voice is needed—introductions, quotations, captions, and running emphasis. The distinctive slant and flared finishing also make it effective for literary titles, short headlines, and formal stationery where a classic, crafted tone is desirable.

The overall tone is cultured and bookish, with an old-style, editorial elegance. Its flowing italic construction reads expressive and human, suggesting tradition and craft rather than strict modern neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional italic with calligraphic energy and softened flared endings, balancing readability with a graceful, expressive texture. It aims to evoke classical serif typography while remaining lively in contemporary layout.

Figures appear lining and serifed, matching the text style with similar modulation and tapered terminals. The uppercase Q has a restrained tail and the overall spacing feels moderate, supporting continuous reading while retaining a distinct italic personality.
