A compact blackletter with broken, angular construction and calligraphic stroke modulation. Stems finish in sharp, wedge-like terminals and small spurs, with tight interior counters and frequent diamond-like joins that create a faceted rhythm. Capitals are more ornamental and varied in silhouette, while lowercase forms stay narrow and vertically driven with minimal roundness and a distinctly short x-height. Numerals follow the same pointed, pen-cut logic, mixing straight-sided forms with occasional curved bowls and tapered ends.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, headlines, signage, packaging, and branding where a historic or Gothic voice is desired. It also fits invitations, certificates, labels, and album or book covers that benefit from a formal, traditional texture. For longer text, generous size and spacing help maintain clarity due to the tight counters and dense overall color.

The font conveys a medieval, Gothic tone with a ceremonial and authoritative presence. Its sharp corners and dense texture read as traditional and serious, evoking manuscripts, heraldry, and old-world print culture rather than casual handwriting.

The design appears intended to reproduce the look of broad-pen blackletter with crisp, broken forms and an assertive vertical rhythm. It aims for an authentic, old-print feel with decorative capitals and a cohesive set of figures for period-styled titling.

At text sizes the face produces a dark, tightly knit color with pronounced vertical rhythm and relatively small apertures, which can increase visual density in longer passages. The design’s personality is carried by its consistent chiseled terminals and the contrast between ornate capitals and more restrained lowercase.
