A heavy, upright serif with roughened, irregular contours that mimic worn printing or hand-inked stamp forms. Strokes are thick and largely even in weight, with subtly flared, wedge-like terminals and notched serifs that create a carved or cut-paper feel. Curves and joins show deliberate wobble and ink spread, producing bumpy edges and occasional asymmetry; counters stay fairly open, helping the letters remain readable despite the texture. Overall spacing and widths vary slightly from glyph to glyph, reinforcing the handmade rhythm.

Best suited for display typography such as posters, event flyers, title treatments, book covers, and themed packaging where texture is part of the message. It works well for fantasy, historical, rustic, or Halloween-adjacent branding, and for short to medium blocks of copy when you want a deliberately worn, handcrafted impression.

The font conveys an old-world, slightly eerie handmade tone—part folk print, part distressed book type. Its rough texture and chunky silhouettes feel tactile and imperfect, suggesting age, craft, and a hint of spellbook theatrics.

The design appears intended to emulate aged, imperfect printing—like a rough press, stamp, or distressed wood/metal type—while keeping a sturdy serif structure for legibility. Its consistent heft and controlled irregularities aim to provide a reliable display face with built-in atmosphere and texture.

In the sample text, the distressed detailing remains prominent at display sizes, where the ragged edges read as intentional texture rather than noise. The bold color and uneven terminals create strong word shapes, while the irregularities add visual movement that can become busy in dense paragraphs.
