A blocky display face built from squared forms with clipped corners and slab-like terminals. Each glyph is constructed as a dark silhouette that’s “carved” with a thin interior inline and paired with a crisp outer highlight/outline, creating a layered, sign-painted look. Counters tend to be rectangular and compact, curves are treated as faceted octagons, and diagonals are sturdy and angular rather than sharp. The rhythm is assertive and high-impact, with capitals that feel uniform and structural and lowercase that mixes simple, geometric bowls with a few more ornate, spur-like details.

Best suited for display work where impact and character are priorities: sports branding, team logos and uniforms, event posters, bold headlines, and signage. It also works well for vintage-themed packaging or titles that benefit from an engraved/outlined effect.

The overall tone reads collegiate and old-style athletic, with a strong vintage Americana flavor that also overlaps with western poster lettering. The inline and outlining add a crafted, engraved character that feels bold, confident, and attention-seeking rather than subtle.

The design appears intended to translate classic varsity and woodtype-inspired block lettering into a highly graphic, layered display style. By combining chamfered geometry with an interior inline and crisp edging, it aims to deliver strong presence while retaining a crafted, dimensional finish.

The figure set follows the same chamfered, jersey-like construction as the capitals, and the inline/outline treatment remains consistent across letters and numerals. At smaller sizes the interior inline may visually merge, so the style is most effective when given room to show its layered detailing.
