A condensed, upright display face with rough, brushlike strokes and uneven edges. Letterforms are built from narrow verticals with frequent tapering, sharp terminals, and occasional thorny protrusions that create a scratchy silhouette. Counters are small and irregular, and stroke joins feel loosely controlled, giving the forms a distressed, hand-rendered rhythm. Widths vary noticeably from glyph to glyph, reinforcing an organic, cut-and-painted look rather than a rigid geometric structure.

Best suited for short, high-impact text such as horror and thriller titles, Halloween promotions, event posters, or packaging needing an eerie edge. It can also work for game/UI title screens, album/film key art, or chapter headers where atmosphere matters more than extended readability.

The overall tone is tense and theatrical, evoking haunted signage, occult ephemera, and classic horror title cards. Its spiky tapers and ragged contours add a sense of unease and motion, reading as intentionally unsettling rather than playful.

The design appears intended to deliver an immediate horror-leaning mood through condensed proportions and aggressively tapered, ragged strokes. By combining a consistent upright structure with distressed brush textures, it aims to look handmade and unsettling while remaining legible as a display alphabet.

The texture is most apparent in repeated vertical stems and curved bowls, where the edges wobble and fray. Numerals share the same narrow, scratchy construction, keeping the set visually consistent for headline use. At smaller sizes the distressed detail may merge, so it favors larger settings where the irregularities can be appreciated.
