A distressed serif with roughened, irregular outlines that mimic worn ink or degraded printing. Strokes are generally slender with modest contrast, and terminals resolve into small wedge-like serifs and blunted ends that vary slightly from glyph to glyph. Counters are open and readable, while edges show consistent jitter, nicks, and occasional ink-blot thickening, creating an intentionally imperfect texture across the alphabet and numerals. Spacing and widths feel naturally uneven, reinforcing a handmade or analog reproduction rhythm rather than strict geometric regularity.

Works well for display settings where a distressed, analog texture is desirable—posters, book and editorial covers, album artwork, event graphics, and packaging. It can also be used for short text passages or pull quotes when a vintage, worn-print voice is needed and sizes are kept comfortable for readability.

The overall tone is gritty and timeworn, evoking aged paper, imperfect impressions, and utilitarian lettering that’s been through repeated use. It reads as historical and tactile rather than polished, with a subtle sense of urgency and rough authenticity.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif structure filtered through a worn production process, capturing the look of aged letterpress, stamped lettering, or a degraded photocopy. The controlled skeleton keeps forms recognizable while the irregular edge treatment supplies character and atmosphere.

In text, the texture remains present without collapsing the counters, so the distressed effect reads as surface wear rather than heavy distortion. The uppercase feels sturdy and poster-friendly, while the lowercase retains a typewriter-like cadence due to the consistent baseline and compact, practical shapes.
