A robust italic serif with a lively forward slant and strongly modulated, flared stroke endings. Stems and diagonals show calligraphic influence, with softened joins and bracketed, wedge-like terminals that give the contours a slightly carved feel rather than sharp hairlines. Counters are compact and the overall color is dark and even, while curves (C, G, O, S) maintain smooth, confident bowls. Lowercase forms are compact and punchy with a single-storey a and g, a narrow, hooked f, and a y with a pronounced descending curve; numerals are similarly weighty with rounded, readable shapes.

Best suited for headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and branding where an italic voice needs to feel substantial and attention-grabbing. It can also work well on packaging and promotional materials that benefit from a classic serif feel with added momentum.

The tone is emphatic and traditional with a punchy, editorial energy. It reads as confident and purposeful—more like a bold headline italic than a delicate book face—while retaining a familiar, classic serif voice.

The design appears intended to deliver a forceful italic serif for display settings—combining traditional serif cues with flared, calligraphic terminals to create motion, warmth, and high impact in short text.

The italic construction is consistent across caps, lowercase, and figures, with noticeable directional stress and wedge terminals that reinforce motion. Spacing appears tuned for display impact, and the heavy strokes give strong presence at large sizes while still preserving recognizable letterforms.
