A slanted serif with a calligraphic, oldstyle skeleton and softly bracketed serifs. Strokes show clear modulation without becoming sharp or hairline-heavy, and curves are generously rounded with a steady, slightly lively rhythm. Proportions feel open and somewhat expansive, with long, sweeping ascenders and descenders and an overall rightward momentum. The italics are structurally true (not merely obliqued), with single-storey forms in the lowercase and a gently varied texture across the line.

Well suited to editorial typography, book interiors, and longform passages where an italic voice is needed for emphasis or narrative tone. It also works effectively for pull quotes, dedications, invitations, and other short-to-medium text where a traditional, elegant italic can carry personality without becoming ornamental.

The face conveys a classical, literary tone—polished and traditional but not stiff. Its flowing italic movement and warm serif detailing suggest formality with a humanist touch, suitable for expressive reading and cultured editorial settings.

This design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic with a distinctly calligraphic backbone, aiming to deliver readable, continuous texture while preserving the expressive movement and warmth associated with classic humanist italics.

Capitals lean toward an inscriptional/calligraphic feel, pairing smoothly with the more handwritten energy of the lowercase. Numerals follow the same slanted, serifed logic, keeping the overall color consistent in running text. The texture is darker than a delicate book italic, but remains articulate enough for continuous setting at moderate sizes.
