A high-contrast serif with sharp, tapered hairlines and fuller main strokes, producing a crisp, engraved-like rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and often end in teardrop/ball terminals, giving many joins and stroke endings a punctuated, ornamental feel. Curves are smooth and controlled, with a slightly calligraphic modulation visible in letters like C, S, and e, while capitals remain stately and well-proportioned. Numerals follow the same contrast and terminal logic, with distinctive drops and curls on figures such as 2, 3, 5, and 9.

Well-suited to editorial headlines, book and magazine typography, and brand marks that want a classic, upscale voice. It can also work for invitations and cultural/event materials where a formal serif with decorative detailing is desirable. For longer passages, it will perform best with comfortable sizing and spacing to preserve the fine hairlines and maintain clarity.

The overall tone feels traditional and literary, with a refined, slightly theatrical elegance. The ball terminals add a decorative flourish that reads as polished rather than playful, suggesting formality with personality.

The design appears intended to blend a traditional serif foundation with distinctive, jewel-like terminals to create a recognizable, premium texture. It emphasizes contrast and finishing details to stand out in titles and identity use while retaining a conventional, readable skeleton.

In text, the strong contrast and delicate hairlines create a bright, sparkling texture, while the ball terminals and tapered strokes give word shapes a distinctive cadence. The design’s punctuation-like terminals become more noticeable at display sizes and can dominate in dense settings.
