A high-contrast italic serif with a crisp, calligraphic construction and a pronounced diagonal slant. Thick vertical and diagonal strokes are paired with hairline joins and delicate, tapered serifs, creating a sharp light–dark rhythm across words. Curves are smoothly tensioned with pointed terminals (notably in letters like C, S, and a), while capitals are narrow and elegant with long, thin finishing strokes. The lowercase shows flowing, slightly variable letter widths and lively entry/exit strokes, giving text an animated texture without becoming ornamental.

This face is well suited to large-format typography such as magazine headlines, decks, pull quotes, and luxury branding where its contrast and sharp serifs can shine. It can also work for short editorial passages or intros when set with comfortable leading and not too small, ensuring hairlines remain clear in print and on screen.

The overall tone is refined and dramatic, with a distinctly editorial, fashion-forward polish. Its glossy contrast and keen edges suggest sophistication and a sense of ceremony, lending headlines a confident, premium feel. In longer passages, the slanted rhythm reads as energetic and stylish rather than strictly utilitarian.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary, high-fashion interpretation of the classic italic serif: elegant proportions, crisp finishing strokes, and a strong thick–thin structure that prioritizes impact and sophistication in display-led settings.

Numerals follow the same contrast logic, with prominent thick stems and needle-thin hairlines; the “4” stands out with a particularly light, open construction. The italic forms emphasize forward motion, and the tight hairlines benefit from ample size and clean reproduction to preserve detail.
