A high-contrast serif with a pronounced rightward slant and a distinctly calligraphic construction. Strokes move from very fine hairlines to firm main stems, with tapered terminals and crisp, bracketed serifs that feel carved rather than blunt. The curves are smooth and slightly elongated, giving the forms a lively, forward rhythm; diagonals and joins show a pen-like modulation that keeps the texture light and airy. Numerals follow the same elegant contrast and slanted movement, reading as formal and text-oriented rather than purely utilitarian.

This font is well suited to editorial settings such as magazines, book typography, and article titles where a refined italic voice is desirable. It also works effectively for literary or boutique branding, invitations, and other formal materials that benefit from a graceful, classic presence at medium to large sizes.

The overall tone is polished and literary, with a sense of old-world refinement and a gentle dramatic flair. It feels suited to sophisticated, editorial typography where elegance and motion are more important than strict neutrality.

The design appears intended to provide a conventional serif foundation with an expressive, calligraphic italic character—balancing traditional proportions with a noticeably fluid, elegant stroke rhythm for refined reading and display applications.

The italic is expressive without becoming overly ornamental: counters stay open, spacing remains controlled, and the letterforms maintain a consistent, graceful cadence across uppercase, lowercase, and figures. The combination of sharp hairlines and tapered details produces a bright page color at display sizes, while still retaining a traditional text-seriffed structure.
