A crisp serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and bracketed serifs that taper to sharp terminals. Capitals are stately and slightly wide, with open counters and smooth, controlled curves; the overall rhythm feels even and well balanced. The lowercase shows a traditional, text-oriented construction with a two‑storey “a,” a double‑storey “g,” and gently angled stress, while ascenders and descenders are moderate in length. Numerals share the same contrast and finishing, reading clearly with elegant curves and firm vertical stems.

Well suited to book and long-form editorial typography where a traditional serif voice is desired, and it can also carry section heads and display sizes thanks to its contrast and crisp terminals. It fits print-forward applications such as magazines, programs, and formal communications where a polished, conventional serif is expected.

The font conveys a classic, literary tone with a composed, editorial confidence. Its sharp detailing and measured contrast lend it a refined, traditional voice that feels appropriate for serious, established contexts.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-contrast text serif that combines traditional proportions with clean, modern precision. Its goal seems to be dependable readability paired with a refined, classical presence for editorial and formal publishing work.

Stroke endings are clean and decisive, and the serifs remain relatively delicate, giving the face a slightly dressy character compared with sturdier news serifs. Spacing appears comfortable in the sample text, supporting continuous reading without looking condensed or overly airy.
