This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with crisp, tapered serifs and a generally vertical stress. Capitals are stately and fairly wide with generous curves (notably in C, G, O, Q), while horizontals remain comparatively fine, enhancing contrast. The lowercase is compact and rhythmic, with a two-storey a and g, a teardrop/ball terminal on j, and a sturdy, bracketed serif structure that keeps strokes clean at text sizes. Numerals are lining and similarly high-contrast, with delicate hairlines and open counters that match the letterforms’ refined texture.

Well-suited to editorial design, long-form reading, and literary publishing where a classic serif voice is desired. It also works effectively for magazine headlines, pull quotes, and brand materials that benefit from high-contrast refinement and a traditional typographic feel.

The overall tone is classic and cultivated, projecting an editorial, bookish confidence. Its sharp hairlines and poised proportions read as formal and polished, with a slightly calligraphic finish that adds sophistication without feeling ornamental.

The font appears intended as a modern, conventional text serif that emphasizes elegance through high contrast and carefully shaped bracketed serifs. Its proportions and consistent rhythm suggest it was drawn to deliver a refined, authoritative voice across both display-sized typography and readable text settings.

The design balances strong vertical stems against very light connecting strokes, producing a bright, high-end page color in larger settings. Round letters are generously drawn, and the serifs stay precise and pointed, giving headings a crisp silhouette while maintaining a conventional text-seriffed cadence.
