A very heavy serif with flared, bracketed endings and a compact, poster-like build. Strokes are broadly monolinear with moderate contrast, but the terminals swell into wedge-like serifs that give the letterforms a carved, stamped feel. Counters are relatively tight and apertures are guarded, producing dark overall color and strong word shapes. The lowercase is sturdy with a traditional two-storey “a” and “g”, short-to-moderate ascenders/descenders, and a generally blocky rhythm; figures are similarly weighty and built for impact.

Best suited to headlines, poster typography, mastheads, and bold branding where strong presence is required. It can work for short subheads or pull quotes, and for packaging or labels that benefit from a heritage, high-impact voice; it is less suited to extended reading at small sizes due to its dense texture.

The tone is bold and emphatic with a classic, old-style-meets-display sensibility. It reads as confident and slightly theatrical, evoking heritage print—headlines, labels, and strong editorial statements—more than quiet, contemporary minimalism.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact while retaining serif character, using flared terminals and tight counters to create a distinctive, vintage-leaning display texture. It prioritizes bold word-shape clarity and dramatic presence for print-like, attention-grabbing settings.

Large sizes show crisp, distinctive flare at joins and terminals, which helps letters separate despite the dense weight. In longer text blocks the heavy color becomes dominant, so spacing and size choices matter to keep lines from feeling overly compressed.
