This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with sharp, wedge-like serifs and subtly flared stroke endings that give terminals a carved, sculptural feel. Curves are smooth and taut, while joins and brackets are cleanly controlled, creating a crisp rhythm in both capitals and lowercase. The capitals read tall and stately with tapered diagonals and elegant bowls, and the lowercase balances sturdy verticals with compact, well-defined counters and slightly calligraphic detailing. Numerals follow the same contrast and serif logic, presenting clear, traditional figures suited to text and display alike.

It works especially well for headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and cover typography where its high-contrast modeling and wedge serifs can be appreciated. It can also serve long-form editorial typography when set with comfortable sizing and spacing, lending a classic, high-end voice to magazines, books, and brand systems.

The overall tone is polished and literary, with a sense of tradition and seriousness that feels at home in editorial and institutional contexts. Its sharp contrast and chiseled endings add a touch of drama and sophistication without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif proportions with flared, wedge-like finishing, delivering an elegant reading rhythm and a premium, editorial presence. Its consistent contrast and carefully shaped terminals suggest a focus on clarity and sophistication across both text and display settings.

In setting, the face maintains strong word-shape and a consistent baseline, with distinctive terminals and wedge serifs providing texture at larger sizes. The contrast and pointed details create a lively sparkle, especially in all-caps and bold headline phrases.
