A highly condensed, vertical display face with blackletter-inspired construction and sharp, chiseled terminals. Stems are thick and rectilinear with minimal contrast, while corners and joins are treated with pointed notches, wedge cuts, and occasional hooked or split details that create an irregular, hand-hewn rhythm. Counters are tight and rectangular, spacing is compact, and the overall texture forms a dark, towering pattern that stays consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals.

Best suited to short display settings where its condensed silhouette and jagged detailing can read clearly—posters, title treatments, logo wordmarks, packaging accents, and album or event graphics. It can also work for fantasy or horror-themed headings and pull quotes, but it is not ideal for extended body copy due to its tight counters and busy internal cuts.

The font projects a theatrical gothic mood—severe, mysterious, and slightly mischievous. Its spiky cuts and uneven quirks read as intentionally strange and attention-seeking, lending a supernatural or heavy-metal flavor without feeling like a traditional formal blackletter.

The design appears intended to reinterpret blackletter through an exaggeratedly narrow, modern stencil-carved lens, prioritizing impact and novelty over conventional readability. Its controlled vertical structure paired with odd, one-off incisions suggests a deliberate aim to feel archaic and ominous while staying graphic and contemporary.

Lowercase forms echo the uppercase’s rigid verticality, so mixed-case setting maintains a uniform, monolithic color. Several letters feature distinctive interior slashes or nicked joints that add character at large sizes but can turn into visual noise in smaller text. Numerals follow the same narrow, carved style, helping headings and short callouts stay stylistically cohesive.
