A heavy, monoline serif design with a square, typewriter-like footprint and consistent character widths. Strokes end in chunky slab-like terminals, but the contours are intentionally roughened, with softened corners and irregular edges that suggest inky imprint and worn letterforms. Counters are simple and fairly open, while curves are slightly lumpy and asymmetrical, creating a steady rhythm that still feels imperfect and human. Numerals and capitals keep the same blocky, sturdy structure, reading clearly even with the distressed texture.

Well-suited for display and short-to-medium text where texture is a feature: posters, editorial headlines, book covers, album artwork, and packaging that wants a tactile, printed-in-ink character. It can also work for captions or pull quotes when a gritty, utilitarian tone is desired, especially in layouts that reference analog production.

The font conveys an analog, printed feel—part vintage typewriter, part rough workshop stencil—where the irregular texture adds grit and personality. It reads as practical and assertive rather than refined, evoking archival documents, handmade zines, and utilitarian labeling.

The design appears intended to capture the regularity of monospaced, typewriter-era forms while layering on a controlled, distressed surface to simulate worn type, rough printing, or ink spread. The goal is clarity with attitude—recognizable letter shapes paired with deliberate imperfections for atmosphere.

The distress is consistent across the set, appearing as edge chatter and small shape wobbles rather than extreme breaks, so text remains legible in paragraphs. Serifs are blunt and compact, giving lines a dense, punchy color in continuous text.
