A calligraphic roman with gently modulated strokes and a soft, pen-like rhythm. The letterforms show bracketed, serif-like finishing strokes and frequent teardrop/ball terminals, especially in the capitals and numerals. Curves are round and open with slightly irregular, hand-drawn tension, while verticals remain steady enough to read as a formal text face. Capitals feature prominent swashes and inward curls (notably on B, D, G, J, Q, R, and S), creating a lively silhouette without fully connecting strokes between letters.

Best suited to display and short-to-medium passages where its swashed capitals and teardrop terminals can be appreciated—such as invitations, greeting cards, chapter headings, literary titles, boutique branding, and artisanal packaging. It can work for body text at comfortable sizes, but the ornamental capitals will be most effective when given room in headings and pull quotes.

The font conveys a refined, storybook charm—formal enough to feel traditional, but animated by playful flourishes. Its tone reads as literary and decorative rather than strictly editorial, suggesting warmth, ceremony, and a touch of whimsy.

The design appears intended to emulate formal pen lettering with a controlled, readable structure, adding decorative flourishes for character and memorability. It balances classic proportions with expressive terminals to create a font that feels ceremonial and narrative-friendly rather than strictly utilitarian.

Spacing in the sample text feels intentionally airy, letting the decorative terminals breathe and helping prevent collisions in mixed-case settings. The numerals share the same calligraphic logic, with curved entries and softly finished ends that keep them stylistically consistent with the letters.
