A heavy display serif with compact vertical stress and pronounced slab-like serifs that often end in chiseled, wedge-cut corners. Strokes are chunky with visible contrast created by sharp incisions and flattened joins, producing a carved, poster-like silhouette rather than smooth curves. Counters are relatively tight, curves are slightly squarish, and many terminals feel clipped or notched, giving the alphabet a lively, irregular rhythm while remaining firmly upright. Numerals and caps carry strong, stable bases and broad shoulders, reading as dense, high-impact shapes.

Best used at display sizes for headlines, posters, signage, packaging callouts, and bold brand marks where its carved slabs and notched terminals can be appreciated. It can work for short bursts of text in themed applications (e.g., western, carnival, retro), but the dense forms and tight counters make it less suitable for small-size body copy.

The font projects an old-time, frontier and show-poster tone—confident, loud, and a bit mischievous. Its cut-in corners and stout slabs evoke hand-cut wood type, lending a vintage, theatrical energy suited to attention-grabbing statements.

The design appears intended to reinterpret classic slab/wood-type display lettering with a cut-paper or chiseled finish, prioritizing impact and character over neutrality. Its angular terminal treatment and stout proportions are geared toward creating immediate visual presence in promotional and title settings.

Texture is intentionally roughened by consistent angular cutbacks at serifs and stroke ends, which helps avoid a purely geometric look and adds a handcrafted feel. The overall color on the page is dark and emphatic, so spacing and line breaks matter for readability in longer settings.
