This serif has sharply tapered hairlines, pronounced thick–thin modulation, and a persistent rightward slant that reads as an italic throughout. Serifs are fine and bracketed with delicate, calligraphic entry/exit strokes, giving many letters a flicked, needlepoint finish. Curves are smooth and tightly controlled, counters feel compact, and the overall rhythm alternates between sturdy vertical stems and whisper-thin connecting strokes. Numerals follow the same engraved, high-contrast logic, with elegant terminals and a slightly ornamental presence at text sizes.

It excels in editorial settings such as magazine features, pull quotes, and display typography where its contrast and slanted motion can be appreciated. It’s also well-suited to luxury packaging, beauty and jewelry branding, and formal invitations, especially at larger sizes or with generous spacing.

The tone is polished and high-fashion, with a poised, premium feel that suggests magazine typography and luxury branding. Its dramatic contrast and tapered details add a sense of sophistication and ceremony, reading more expressive than utilitarian while still remaining classically grounded.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary, editorial take on a classic high-contrast italic serif—balancing crisp refinement with expressive, calligraphic finishing. It aims to communicate prestige and style while maintaining the familiar structure needed for sophisticated text and titling.

The italics show strong cursive influence in letters like a, f, g, and y, with elongated ascenders/descenders and distinctive, sweeping terminals. Uppercase forms stay stately and restrained, while lowercase adds more movement and flourish, producing a lively texture in running text.
