A slanted serif with an irregular, ink-worn texture and uneven stroke edges that mimic aged printing or a rough pen. Letterforms show soft, blunted terminals, slightly wavy outlines, and small burrs along curves and joins, creating a deliberately imperfect rhythm. Serifs are modest and sometimes asymmetrical, with occasional thickened tips and a subtly calligraphic feel in diagonals and entry/exit strokes. Overall spacing and widths fluctuate from glyph to glyph, reinforcing the handmade, distressed character while remaining readable in continuous text.

Well-suited to display and short-to-medium text where a vintage or handcrafted mood is desirable, such as book jackets, event posters, product labels, café menus, and brand marks that want an aged print feel. It can also work for pull quotes and headings in editorial layouts, especially when paired with cleaner supporting text.

The font conveys a vintage, tactile tone—like text pulled from an old paperback, a stamped label, or a well-used typewriter-meets-letterpress impression. Its imperfect contours add warmth and personality, suggesting nostalgia, craft, and a slightly quirky, human voice rather than polished modernity.

The design appears intended to evoke worn printing and human touch—combining italic serif structure with intentionally roughened contours to simulate imperfect ink transfer. It aims for readable character with visible texture, balancing legibility with a strong retro, handmade signal.

In the sample text, the texture becomes a consistent peppered roughness rather than heavy fragmentation, so the distressed effect reads as worn ink rather than damage. The italic slant and lively baseline motion give passages a conversational flow, while the softened corners keep the overall color from feeling harsh or mechanical.
