A condensed slab serif with extremely tall proportions and a narrow set, built from largely even stroke weight and crisp, unbracketed slab terminals. Stems read straight and wiry, while many corners and joins show slight irregularities that feel intentionally “drawn” rather than mechanically rigid. Serifs are small but emphatic—often pointed or wedge-like in silhouette—creating a prickly, high-contrast edge in the outlines without strong stroke modulation. Counters are tight and vertical, with compact bowls and minimal horizontal spread; overall spacing appears economical, supporting dense lines of text.

Best suited to headlines and short to medium-length display settings where its condensed height and distinctive slab terminals can do the talking. It can also work for book covers, labels, and branding systems that want a vintage, offbeat voice, and it holds up well in punchy pull quotes or tight column widths.

The font conveys a quirky, vintage personality—part typewriter-poster, part storybook eccentric. Its tall, narrow rhythm and sharp slab accents give it a slightly spooky or circus-broadside flavor, while the gentle unevenness keeps it friendly and characterful rather than stern.

The design appears intended to deliver a highly recognizable, space-saving display serif with a hand-rendered edge—combining strict verticality and square-ended slabs with playful, slightly idiosyncratic detailing for character and memorability.

Capital forms feel especially elongated and display-oriented, with a strong vertical cadence across words. Numerals follow the same narrow, upright construction and match the alphabet’s crisp slab endings, helping mixed alphanumeric settings stay visually consistent.
