A compact serif with tapered stems that swell into subtly flared stroke endings, creating a chiseled, pen-cut feel rather than flat slabs. Curves are gently pinched at joins and terminals, and many letters show wedge-like feet and top spurs that sharpen the silhouette. Proportions run on the condensed side with tight counters and a lively, slightly irregular rhythm, especially in rounded forms (C, O) and diagonals (K, X). The lowercase maintains a moderate x-height with distinctive, narrow bowls and a hooked, descending tail on g; numerals follow the same tapered, flared logic with bold, sculpted curves.

Best suited to display typography such as book covers, chapter heads, film/game titles, posters, and themed packaging where its sculpted terminals can read clearly. It can work for short editorial headings and pull quotes, but the dense counters and active silhouettes make it less ideal for long body copy at small sizes.

The overall tone reads as old-world and narrative—part blackletter-adjacent without being fully gothic, and part hand-carved signage. Its pointed terminals and swelling strokes give it a theatrical, legendary flavor that feels at home in fantasy, folklore, and historical settings while staying legible in short text runs.

The design appears intended to evoke a carved or broad-pen serif style with a flared finish, aiming for strong character and period atmosphere while remaining more approachable than true blackletter. It prioritizes distinctive silhouettes and a lively rhythm for branding and titling contexts.

Capitals are especially emblematic, with strong vertical presence and pronounced flaring that adds texture in display sizes. The ampersand and punctuation carry the same spurred, sharpened detailing, helping maintain consistency across settings. Spacing in the sample text suggests it benefits from a bit of air at larger sizes to keep counters from closing visually.
