This typeface uses thin, even stroke weight with compact, slightly condensed proportions and generous sidebearings that keep the texture open. Serifs are slab-like but intentionally unconventional: many terminals sprout short lateral bars or cross-strokes that feel bolted on, creating a distinctive “notched” silhouette. Curves (C, O, e) are rounded yet interrupted by these side projections, while verticals (I, l, t) emphasize the engineered, modular construction. Numerals are simple and legible, with the same added crossbars giving several figures a subtly mechanical, custom-built look.

Best suited for display typography where its eccentric slab terminals can be appreciated—posters, headlines, book or zine covers, packaging, and editorial callouts. It can also work for short blocks of text when a quirky, typewriter-adjacent voice is desired and the setting allows comfortable spacing.

The overall tone is playful and oddball—evoking a vintage typewriter or technical labeling system that’s been artistically hacked. Its repeated side-bars and hooks add a humorous, contrarian flavor, making even familiar letterforms feel slightly mischievous and experimental.

The design appears intended to reinterpret slab-serif/typewriter conventions through deliberate structural quirks—adding lateral bars and notched terminals to create a distinctive, engineered texture. It prioritizes personality and recognizability over neutrality, aiming for a memorable, offbeat voice in titles and branded moments.

The repeated crossbar terminals can create strong horizontal “sparkles” in running text, especially around rounded letters and punctuation, producing a busy, characterful rhythm. The design reads most clearly when given enough size or spacing for the small projecting details to remain distinct.
