A delicate italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and fine hairline serifs. The letterforms are strongly right-slanted with a calligraphic flow, showing smooth joins, tapered terminals, and bracketed serifs that stay crisp even in tighter curves. Proportions feel traditional and bookish, with rounded counters, a moderately compact x-height relative to tall ascenders/descenders, and lively rhythm created by the varying stroke weight and angled stress. Numerals follow the same refined, slightly old-style sensibility, keeping thin entry/exit strokes and open curves.

Well-suited to long-form editorial typography such as books, essays, and magazine features, especially for emphasis, quotations, or elegant running text. It can also serve refined display roles—titles, pull quotes, and formal communications—where its crisp contrast and italic cadence reinforce a premium tone.

The overall tone is poised and cultivated, evoking editorial sophistication and classical print traditions. Its graceful slant and high-contrast strokes give it a polished, expressive character without becoming ornamental, making it feel appropriate for premium, literate contexts.

The design appears intended as a conventional, readable italic serif with a distinctly refined, print-oriented texture—combining traditional proportions with high-contrast detailing to deliver elegance in continuous reading and editorial settings.

The face reads best when allowed some breathing room: the hairlines and tight interior joins suggest it will reward comfortable sizes and considerate line spacing. Curved letters show controlled modulation and a consistent italic movement, while capitals carry a dignified, gently sculpted presence.
