This serif shows an italic, calligraphy-informed construction with pronounced thick–thin modulation and bracketed wedge serifs. Curves are generous and slightly swelling, while joins and terminals taper to sharp, crisp points, creating a lively diagonal rhythm. The capitals feel stately and open, with wide bowls and clear internal counters; the lowercase is moderately compact with a steady, text-oriented x-height and flowing entry/exit strokes. Numerals follow the same angled, high-contrast logic, keeping an elegant, slightly cursive texture rather than a rigid, mechanical one.

Well-suited to book and long-form editorial typography where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, pull quotes, and headings. It can also work in formal communications—programs, invitations, and brand language—where a traditional, polished serif impression is desired.

The overall tone is classic and literary, suggesting traditional printing and editorial refinement. Its energetic italic movement adds a sense of sophistication and rhetorical emphasis, reading as formal without becoming ornate or decorative.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic with strong calligraphic roots, balancing readability with expressive diagonal motion. It aims to provide a refined, authoritative tone while keeping letterforms clear and structurally familiar for continuous reading.

Stroke contrast is most evident in round letters and diagonals, where hairlines become very fine and stress feels consistently angled. The design maintains a cohesive rhythm across uppercase, lowercase, and figures, with pointed terminals and tapered serifs reinforcing a crisp, polished finish.
