A calligraphic display face with strongly flared terminals, sharp wedge-like serifs, and a lively, hand-cut rhythm. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation and frequent tapering into pointed ends, creating a chiseled, almost woodcut-like silhouette. Proportions are compact with relatively small counters and a short lowercase body, while ascenders/descenders and capitals add visual drama through varied widths and idiosyncratic curves. Overall spacing and letterforms feel intentionally uneven in a controlled way, emphasizing texture and personality over strict regularity.

Best suited for short-to-medium display settings where texture is an asset: titles, chapter heads, posters, packaging accents, and branding that wants a handcrafted, historical or fantastical voice. It can work for larger text blocks when set generously, but it reads most clearly and confidently at headline sizes.

The font carries a folkloric, old-world tone—part illuminated-manuscript, part storybook signage. Its spiky tapers and playful irregularities can read mischievous or slightly eerie, making it feel theatrical and characterful rather than neutral or corporate.

The design appears intended to evoke hand-rendered, formal lettering with a carved or inked tool effect—prioritizing distinctive silhouettes, expressive terminals, and a curated irregularity to create atmosphere and narrative character.

Capitals are especially sculptural, with exaggerated bowls and angled joins, while lowercase forms retain a bouncy cadence that keeps text feeling animated. Numerals follow the same flared, tapering logic and read as decorative figures rather than utilitarian lining numbers.
