A high-contrast serif with sharp, tapered wedge serifs and a pronounced thick–thin rhythm throughout. Strokes transition quickly from hairline curves to sturdy verticals, giving the letterforms a crisp, polished texture at display sizes. Proportions are moderately narrow with lively width variation across glyphs, and the curves show a slightly calligraphic tension, especially in round letters and diagonals. Terminals are clean and pointed rather than blunt, and numerals follow the same elegant contrast with slender joins and open counters.

Well suited to magazine headlines, pull quotes, book or journal covers, and brand wordmarks where refined contrast and sharp detailing are an asset. It can also work for short passages in print-style layouts when ample size and spacing preserve the thin strokes and interior counters.

The overall tone is sophisticated and traditional, with a poised, editorial feel associated with fashion, literature, and cultural institutions. Its sharp contrast and fine details communicate luxury and seriousness more than friendliness or utilitarian neutrality.

Designed to deliver a classic text-serif voice with heightened contrast and crisp serifs for a premium, contemporary editorial look. The consistent modulation and pointed finishing suggest an intention to balance traditional forms with a more glamorous, display-forward sheen.

At larger sizes the hairlines read clean and give the type a bright, sparkling cadence; in denser settings those thin strokes may become visually delicate compared to the heavier stems. The italic is not shown, and the sample emphasizes strong headline presence and clear word shapes in mixed case.
