A serif display face with softly irregular, roughened outlines that evoke ink spread and worn printing. Strokes show modest contrast and gently tapered terminals, with small wedge-like serifs and occasional flared joins. Curves are slightly lumpy and counters stay fairly open, while spacing and character widths vary enough to keep a handmade rhythm. The lowercase has a straightforward, readable structure with rounded bowls and a lightly calligraphic feel, and the numerals are sturdy and oldstyle-leaning in proportion.

Well-suited to posters, book covers, and editorial headlines where texture and personality are desired. It can also work for brand marks, product packaging, labels, and event materials that aim for a handcrafted or vintage printed look, especially at medium-to-large sizes where the rough detail can be appreciated.

The texture and uneven edges give the font a warm, lived-in tone—part antique letterpress, part hand-inked signage. It reads friendly and characterful rather than formal, with a subtle folk/craft sensibility that adds charm and approachability.

The design appears intended to mimic imperfect, tactile printing—like inked type pressed onto paper with slight wear and bleed—while keeping familiar serif structures for readability. Its goal is to add instant character and nostalgia to display typography without relying on heavy ornament.

In longer text, the distressed detailing becomes a consistent grain across the line, adding atmosphere without fully breaking legibility. The capitals feel slightly more decorative than the lowercase, making mixed-case settings particularly expressive for headlines and short phrases.
