A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and an engraved inline running through the main stems and bowls, producing a carved, dimensional effect. Serifs are bracketed and fairly sharp, with crisp terminals and narrow joins that emphasize the vertical rhythm. Proportions lean toward tall capitals and compact, readable lowercase, while counters remain open enough for text strings despite the decorative inner line. Numerals match the chiseled, inline treatment and keep consistent stroke logic with the letters.

Best suited for display settings such as headlines, titles, posters, and book or album covers where the inline engraving can be appreciated. It also works well for premium branding, labels, and packaging that benefit from a classic, crafted look. For longer text, it’s most effective in larger point sizes or short passages where the decorative stroke detail won’t compete with legibility.

The overall tone feels theatrical and editorial, like engraved lettering on invitations, programs, or luxury packaging. The inline cut lends a refined, slightly vintage show-card character—formal and dramatic without becoming overly ornamental.

The design appears intended to merge a traditional high-contrast serif structure with an engraved inline to add depth and distinctive personality. It aims to deliver a classic foundation for typography while providing a built-in decorative effect for impactful titling.

The inline is consistently centered within heavier strokes, giving a stable “carved” illusion rather than a fragile outline. The strongest impact appears at larger sizes where the interior line can read clearly; at smaller sizes the fine inline detail becomes more subtle and the face reads as a high-contrast serif with extra texture.
