A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flared stems and crisp, tapered terminals. The heavy verticals and hairline joins create a pronounced thick–thin rhythm, while the serifs read as sharp wedges with subtle bracketing rather than slabs. Counters are generous and shapes feel slightly squarish in places, giving the face a sturdy, display-forward presence despite the fine hairlines. Lowercase forms show single-storey a and g with rounded bowls and pointed finishing strokes, and the numerals share the same strong vertical emphasis and refined, tapered details.

Best suited to headlines, magazine and editorial titling, posters, and brand marks where high contrast and sharp serif detailing can be appreciated. It can also work for premium packaging and short pull quotes, especially at larger sizes with comfortable tracking and leading.

The overall tone is formal and emphatic, combining a traditional bookish voice with a more theatrical, fashion-editorial sharpness. It feels confident and ceremonial, suited to settings where contrast and authority are part of the message.

The design appears aimed at delivering a luxe, high-impact serif voice by combining strong vertical weight with flared, carved-looking stroke endings and refined hairlines. Its proportions and detailing prioritize striking contrast and silhouette clarity for display and editorial use.

At larger sizes the hairlines and sharp serifs become key visual features, producing a crisp sparkle and tight, dramatic texture in paragraphs. The italic is not shown; the samples suggest the roman is intended to carry both headline impact and short-form reading when given adequate size and spacing.
