A delicate, calligraphy-inspired italic with crisp thick–thin modulation and a pronounced rightward slant. Letterforms are built from tapered entry and exit strokes, with occasional hairline joins and sharp, pointed terminals. Capitals are notably more ornate than the lowercase, featuring looped forms and restrained swashes that extend baseline and cap-line slightly for a graceful rhythm. Subtle roughness and uneven ink-like texture appear along some strokes, lending a lightly worn, printed feel while maintaining clear, consistent structure.

Well suited to display settings where elegance and flourish are desirable: wedding and event invitations, boutique branding, premium packaging, editorial headlines, and book or chapter titles. The high stroke contrast and ornamental capitals suggest using it at larger sizes and avoiding dense, small text blocks where fine hairlines and texture may soften.

The overall tone is refined and old-world, evoking formal correspondence, engraved stationery, and classic literary titling. The slight irregularity adds a human, timeworn character—more romantic and atmospheric than pristine—without tipping into chaos or heavy grunge.

Designed to emulate formal pointed-pen or engraved script traditions, pairing disciplined letter construction with tasteful decorative motion. The lightly distressed edges appear intended to add warmth and period charm, making the font feel archival and tactile rather than clinically smooth.

Spacing reads airy, with slender counters and a light footprint that benefits from generous tracking at display sizes. Numerals follow the same italic calligraphic logic, with simple, elegant shapes and occasional tapering that keeps them aligned with the text’s flowing movement.
