A heavy, serifed display face with compact proportions and slightly irregular letter widths. Strokes are solid and rounded at the terminals, with bracket-like serifs that read as hand-inked or stamped rather than sharply carved. The most defining feature is the distressed treatment: edges wobble subtly and the interiors carry scattered pits and speckles, creating an uneven ink-trap/letterpress wear effect. Counters stay mostly open and legible, while curves and joins maintain a lively, organic rhythm across the set.

Well-suited for posters, covers, and editorial headlines where a textured, analog look is desired. It also fits packaging, labels, café menus, and event branding that aims for a handcrafted or heritage feel. For longer passages, it works best at moderate-to-large sizes where the distress detail reads clearly without overpowering the letterforms.

The font conveys a vintage, workshop-made character—like worn signage, old broadsides, or ink-stamped packaging. Its texture adds a friendly grit that feels nostalgic and practical rather than sleek or corporate, with a slightly playful, storybook warmth.

The design appears intended to recreate the look of bold serif display type printed with imperfect ink coverage—combining sturdy shapes with controlled abrasion to suggest age, wear, or letterpress texture while keeping the alphabet readable and consistent.

Spacing appears comfortable for display use, and the texture remains visible even in larger blocks of text, where the speckling reads as consistent print wear. Numerals share the same rounded, inked construction and distress pattern, helping headlines and price points feel cohesive.
