A condensed serif with tall proportions, compact sidebearings, and a crisp, disciplined rhythm. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation with tapered joins and finely shaped, bracketed serifs that often end in sharp points. Curves are smooth and vertically oriented, counters are relatively narrow, and the overall texture reads dark and tidy at text sizes. Capitals are statuesque and narrow; the lowercase maintains a traditional construction with a two-storey “a” and “g,” and slender numerals that align with the condensed setting.

Well suited to editorial settings where a compact, elegant serif is needed—magazine layouts, book interiors, and pull quotes that benefit from economy of width. It also works effectively for sophisticated headlines and brand applications that want a classic, cultured voice without the bulk of wider text serifs.

The font conveys a polished, editorial tone with a hint of old-world sophistication. Its narrow, high-contrast detailing suggests formality and care, lending a composed, slightly dramatic voice suited to refined typography.

This design appears intended as a space-efficient, conventional text serif with heightened refinement: narrow proportions, controlled contrast, and crisp serif detailing that give a familiar structure a more formal, high-end finish.

The condensed width and sharp serif finishing create strong vertical emphasis, which can tighten color in paragraphs and amplify contrast in headings. In the sample text, word shapes remain conventional and readable, but the dense spacing and narrow counters give it a distinctly taut, high-style appearance.
