A monolinear, slab-leaning typewriter face with sturdy, blunt terminals and a visibly worn inked texture. Strokes show subtle irregularities and slight edge erosion, creating uneven counters and softened corners while keeping letterforms highly consistent in width and alignment. Serifs are short and blocky, with a compact, mechanical rhythm and firm vertical stress; curves (notably in bowls and numerals) read slightly flattened and stamped rather than smoothly drawn.

Well-suited to display and short-to-medium text where a typed, lived-in voice is desirable—book and album covers, film or podcast titles, posters, museum-style captions, and packaging that leans heritage or craft. It can also work for editorial pull quotes or interface motifs where strict column alignment is needed but a clean geometric mono would feel too sterile.

The overall tone feels archival and hands-on—like text struck through an ink ribbon on absorbent paper. Its mild distress and imperfect edges suggest reportage, ephemera, and utilitarian documents, with a faint noir/industrial grit that adds character without becoming overly decorative.

The design appears intended to evoke mechanical type and the variability of real-world printing—maintaining a disciplined mono rhythm while introducing just enough wear and ink spread to feel human and period-authentic.

The texture is consistent across caps, lowercase, and numerals, helping long passages retain a cohesive “printed” color. Punctuation and dots appear solid and rounded, contributing to a dense, authoritative page presence; at smaller sizes the roughness may visually darken joins and tight counters.
