A tightly condensed serif with strong vertical emphasis and flared stroke endings that read like tapered wedges rather than bracketed slabs. Stems are heavy and straight, with moderate modulation and sharp, triangular terminals that create a crisp silhouette. Counters are narrow and upright, and the overall rhythm is tall and compact, producing a columnar texture in words. The lowercase shows compact bowls and a sturdy, linear feel, while figures and capitals maintain the same elongated, poster-like proportions.

Best suited to headlines and display settings where height and impact are desirable—posters, book covers, mastheads, and branding wordmarks. It can also work for short editorial titles or pull quotes when set with comfortable tracking and generous leading to offset the condensed, high-contrast texture.

The typeface conveys a dramatic, slightly gothic tone with a vintage display sensibility. Its narrow, towering forms and pointed flares suggest authority and spectacle, evoking old playbills, headline typography, and editorial titling that wants to feel bold and emphatic without becoming blocky.

The design appears intended as a compact, attention-grabbing display serif that maximizes impact in narrow measure. By combining condensed proportions with flared terminals, it aims to deliver a distinctive, historic-leaning voice while remaining clean and structured.

At larger sizes the flared terminals become a defining detail, adding sparkle at stroke ends and helping characters stay distinct despite the compressed width. In longer lines the dense vertical texture can feel intense, so spacing and size choices will strongly affect readability.
