A sharp, high-contrast serif with slender hairlines and stronger verticals that open into subtly flared, wedge-like terminals rather than blunt slabs. The letterforms show a calligraphic underpinning with gently tapered strokes, pointed joins, and crisp, knife-edged serifs that feel integrated into the stems. Round characters (C, G, O, Q) are drawn with smooth, controlled curves and fine entry/exit strokes, while diagonals (V, W, X, Y) have clean, steep angles and delicate hairline connections. Lowercase forms are compact and tidy with a two-storey a, a looped g with a pronounced ear, and a small, sharp-shouldered r; numerals follow the same contrast and taper, with open bowls and fine finishing strokes.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazines, cultural essays, and book jackets where contrast and fine detailing can be appreciated. It also fits luxury branding, packaging, and formal stationery that benefit from a poised, sophisticated voice. For long passages, it will be most comfortable in print or at generous sizes where the hairlines remain clear.

The overall tone is polished and cultivated, balancing classical book typographic cues with a more fashion-forward sharpness. Its flared stroke endings add a touch of ceremonial sophistication, giving the face a composed, premium presence without feeling overly ornate.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary, premium serif texture built on classic proportions, using flared terminals and calligraphic tapering to add distinction and elegance. It aims for a refined headline and editorial personality that remains readable while projecting a high-end, curated tone.

In text, the rhythm reads crisp and slightly sparkling due to the thin hairlines and pointed terminals, which creates a refined texture at larger sizes. The capitals feel statuesque and formal, while the lowercase maintains a lighter, more conversational flow, helping it transition between display and editorial settings.
