A tall, wiry serif with slab-like terminals and a lightly uneven, hand-cut rhythm. Strokes stay relatively consistent in thickness, with small kinks, tapered joins, and occasional spur-like notches that create a slightly scratchy outline. Proportions are narrow and vertical, with long ascenders/descenders and compact lowercase bodies; counters tend to be tight and openings are modest. The caps have a rangy, slightly offbeat construction, while the numerals are similarly slender and a bit asymmetric, reinforcing an artisanal, irregular texture in lines of text.

Best suited to display typography such as titles, chapter heads, book covers, posters, and packaging where its quirky texture can be appreciated. It can also work for short passages or pull quotes when set with generous size and leading, but its narrow forms and irregular details make it less ideal for dense, small-size continuous reading.

The font reads as eccentric and literary, with a storybook or folktale flavor. Its spindly slabs and imperfect edges add a playful, slightly eerie charm—more “ink-and-paper” than polished contemporary. The overall tone feels decorative and characterful, suited to settings where personality is more important than neutrality.

The design appears intended to emulate an expressive, hand-drawn slab-serif voice with a deliberately imperfect finish. Its narrow, tall construction and lively terminals suggest a focus on distinctive tone—evoking vintage print, handmade lettering, and narrative-driven contexts rather than strict typographic neutrality.

Spacing and widths vary per glyph, and the baseline/terminal behavior feels intentionally inconsistent to preserve a hand-rendered cadence. The lowercase shows a notably compact x-height with prominent extenders, which gives text a vertical, whimsical sparkle but can reduce clarity at very small sizes.
