A crisp, high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharp, bracketed serifs. Capitals are stately and moderately wide with clean, slightly tapered terminals, while the lowercase shows a traditional text rhythm with two-storey a and g, a compact, slightly angled stress, and delicate joining into serifs. Curves are smooth and controlled, counters are open, and spacing reads even at text sizes; the overall color stays light and elegant despite the strong contrast.

Well-suited to book interiors, magazine typography, and other editorial layouts where a classic serif texture is desired. The pronounced contrast and sharp serifs also make it effective for formal invitations, cultural branding, and display-size titling when paired with generous leading and margins.
