A high-contrast serif with slender hairlines and strong, tapered thick strokes that create a crisp black-and-white rhythm. Serifs are fine and pointed to lightly bracketed, with frequent wedge-like terminals and sharp apexes on forms such as A, V, W, and Y. Round letters show smooth, narrow transitions into very thin joins, while horizontals and diagonals stay clean and precise, giving the design a polished, print-oriented texture. Lowercase forms are compact and disciplined, with a modest x-height and clear differentiation between bowls, stems, and terminals; numerals follow the same contrast model with delicate top strokes and emphatic verticals.

Well suited to editorial typography, book and magazine work, and other long-form settings where a traditional serif voice is desired. It also performs strongly in headlines, pull quotes, and refined collateral such as invitations or programs, where its contrast and sharp terminals can be appreciated at larger sizes.

The overall tone is classic and cultured, leaning toward an editorial, bookish sophistication rather than a casual or purely utilitarian voice. Its crisp contrast and fine detailing communicate formality and a sense of tradition, with a slightly dramatic, fashion-adjacent edge when set large.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional text-serif structure with elevated contrast and finely cut details, balancing readability with an upscale, print-classic character. It aims to provide a familiar typographic foundation while adding a more elegant, fashion-forward sheen through hairline serifs and tapered stroke endings.

At display sizes the thin strokes and pointed details read as sharp and luxurious, while in denser paragraphs the fine hairlines add sparkle and a slightly fragile delicacy. The spacing and rhythm feel measured and conventional, supporting continuous reading while still projecting a distinctive, high-contrast personality.
