A robust serif with a pronounced forward slant, compact counters, and strongly bracketed, wedge-like serifs. Strokes show a clear thick–thin modulation, with weight concentrated in the main stems and lighter joins and inner curves, producing a crisp, chiseled texture. Proportions are broad and steady, with substantial caps and rounded forms that stay tightly controlled; terminals and serifs feel slightly flared, giving letters a sculpted, ink-trap-adjacent solidity without becoming slab-like. Figures are similarly weighty and italicized, with open bowls and confident, slightly calligraphic curves.

Best used for headlines, decks, pull quotes, and other short-to-medium runs where its strong slant and contrast can provide emphasis. It can also work well in branding, packaging, and display settings that benefit from a classic serif voice with extra impact.

The overall tone is traditional yet forceful—evoking editorial authority and heritage signage while keeping a lively, kinetic slant. Its weight and contrast communicate confidence and urgency, making it feel well-suited to emphatic, headline-driven typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif structure with heightened drama—combining broad, weighty forms with italic motion and clear contrast to create an attention-grabbing display serif that still feels grounded in traditional typographic norms.

In text, the strong italic angle and dense internal spaces create a compact rhythm that reads best when given generous line spacing and careful tracking. The bold serifs and tapered joins produce distinctive word shapes, especially in round letters and diagonals, lending a slightly sporty, poster-like presence.
