This serif design shows pronounced thick–thin contrast with crisp, tapered serifs and a generally vertical stress. Proportions are compact with relatively tight letter widths, while counters remain open enough for text use. Many forms feature subtly calligraphic shaping—especially in the curved letters—along with occasional flared or teardrop-like terminals that add sparkle. The overall rhythm is disciplined and text-oriented, with clean joins and a slightly expressive, old-style-leaning modeling in the bowls and diagonals.

It fits well in editorial design, long-form reading, and book or magazine typography where a classic serif voice is desired. The high-contrast detailing also makes it suitable for headings, pull quotes, and formal materials such as programs or invitations when set with appropriate size and spacing.

The font conveys a cultivated, bookish tone with an elegant, slightly dramatic texture on the page. Its sharp contrast and sculpted terminals add sophistication and a hint of vintage refinement without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif reading experience while adding a refined, high-contrast sheen and a touch of calligraphic personality. It aims for a classic, authoritative texture that remains polished in both display lines and text settings.

Capitals present a stately presence with strong verticals and incisive serifs, while lowercase details (notably in letters with tails and ear-like terminals) introduce distinctive character. Numerals also adopt the same high-contrast, serifed treatment, giving figures a traditional, editorial feel.
