A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a smooth, calligraphic stroke flow. Serifs are small and bracketed, with tapered terminals and sharp joins that keep the texture crisp even at larger sizes. Proportions feel traditionally bookish: moderate lowercase height, compact counters, and a gently right-leaning rhythm; uppercase forms are elegant and slightly narrow with restrained, formal detailing. Figures share the same italic stress and contrast, with curving forms and fine finishing strokes.

Well suited to long-form editorial typography, book interiors, and magazine layouts where an elegant italic is needed for emphasis, quotations, and section leads. It can also serve as a refined display italic for headlines and titling in culturally oriented or academic contexts, especially when set with comfortable spacing.

The overall tone is classical and cultivated, with an editorial polish that reads as serious and literary rather than decorative. Its energetic italic angle adds motion and emphasis while keeping a composed, traditional voice.

Designed to deliver a conventional, readable serif voice with a distinctly italic, calligraphy-informed character for sophisticated text and emphasis. The goal appears to be a balanced blend of tradition and sparkle: strong contrast and crisp finishing for elegance, paired with controlled proportions for sustained reading.

The italics show clear cursive influence in letters like a, f, g, and y, with softly curved entry strokes and tapered descenders that create a lively line. High-contrast strokes and fine hairlines suggest it will look best where printing or rendering can preserve delicate details.
