A robust serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and clearly bracketed serifs. Curves are full and rounded, with smooth, calligraphic transitions into stems, giving counters a slightly organic feel. Uppercase proportions are sturdy and compact, while the lowercase shows classic text-face traits such as a two-storey “a” and “g,” a compact “e,” and moderate ascenders/descenders that keep the line economical. Numerals follow the same high-contrast rhythm with strong, stable shapes and generous bowls.

Well-suited to editorial headlines, book and magazine typography, and other applications that benefit from a classic serif presence. It can also serve effectively in branded materials, invitations, and packaging where a formal, traditional tone is desired.

The overall tone feels traditional and bookish, with a confident, institutional voice. Its weight and contrast convey seriousness and authority, while the softened bracketing and rounded joins add warmth that keeps it from feeling overly rigid.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional text-serif voice with elevated contrast and a strong typographic color, optimized for readability while projecting a classic, authoritative character.

The face maintains a consistent dark color in running text, with clear vertical stress and a steady cadence across letters. Terminal details and serifs are assertive but not sharp, supporting a composed, classical texture at display sizes and in larger text settings.
