A high-contrast display serif with an inline treatment that splits the black strokes, creating a carved, hollowed look. The letterforms are upright with crisp, sharply defined terminals and a clear, classic serif structure. Curves are smooth and fairly geometric, while straighter strokes feel rigid and architectural; the inline detail is consistently placed and reads as a fine internal stripe rather than an outer outline. Spacing and proportions skew toward display rhythm—capitals feel prominent and the alphabet has a slightly “constructed” presence that stays legible in larger sizes.

Best suited to headlines, poster typography, titles, and logo/wordmark work where the inline carving can be appreciated. It can add a premium, vintage accent to packaging and menus, and works well for event materials such as invitations or playbills. For longer reading, it functions more as an accent face than a body-text workhorse.

The inline carving and stark black‑and‑white contrast evoke a vintage, marquee-like sophistication with a hint of Art Deco flair. It feels polished and theatrical—formal enough for upscale contexts, but decorative enough to signal personality and spectacle. The overall tone lands between classic elegance and showcard ornament.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a traditional serif skeleton as a high-impact display face, using an inline cut to add depth and ornament without resorting to heavy embellishment. The goal seems to be strong shelf/scene presence—bold silhouettes paired with refined internal detailing.

The inline detail creates a delicate secondary rhythm inside stems and bowls, so the face benefits from generous sizes and clean reproduction. Round letters (like O/Q) emphasize the internal striping, while angled forms (like V/W/X/Y) add sharp, dramatic diagonals that heighten the display character.
