A very thin, italic serif with crisp, square-ended slab serifs and minimal stroke modulation. Forms are open and generously spaced, with long ascenders/descenders and a smooth, continuous slant that creates a calm diagonal rhythm across lines. Terminals often finish with small wedge-like cuts or flat feet, and counters are round and clean (notably in O/Q and the numerals). The overall color is light and even, with a slightly calligraphic motion in the curves despite the geometric, unbracketed serif joins.

Best suited to display and short-to-medium text where its fine strokes can stay crisp—editorial headlines, book and magazine titling, pull quotes, invitations, and upscale brand applications. It can add a refined, classical accent in packaging or identity work, especially when paired with a sturdier companion for body copy.

The font projects a poised, cultured tone—quietly formal rather than loud. Its lightness and steady italic flow feel editorial and literary, suggesting sophistication, restraint, and a touch of vintage charm.

The design appears intended to blend classical italic elegance with a sharper, more architectural slab-serif structure. By keeping contrast restrained and serifs unbracketed, it aims for a refined, contemporary take on an old-style editorial voice—expressive through slant and proportion rather than weight.

The italic angle is consistent across capitals, lowercase, and numerals, helping text feel continuous and fluent. Capitals are relatively narrow and tall, while the lowercase maintains clear differentiation between similar shapes (e.g., i/j with simple dots, single-storey a and g), reinforcing a clean, modernized classic feel.
