A dense blackletter with broken, angular strokes and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Letterforms are built from sharply cut verticals, pointed joins, and wedge-like terminals, with frequent spurs and small internal counters that create a dark, rhythmic texture. Capitals are more elaborate and wider than the lowercase, featuring sweeping entry strokes and occasional flourished curves, while the lowercase stays compact and upright with consistent vertical emphasis. Numerals follow the same chiseled, calligraphic construction, maintaining the heavy color and crisp edges seen in the letters.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, posters, titles, and branding moments that benefit from historical or gothic signaling. It can also work for packaging, labels, and certificate-style designs where a formal, traditional texture is desirable, while extended small-size body copy may feel dense due to the compact counters.

The font conveys a medieval, ceremonial tone with a stern, traditional voice. Its compact texture and ornamental capitals evoke manuscripts, heraldry, and institutional gravitas, giving text a dramatic and authoritative presence.

The design appears intended to recreate a classic blackletter texture with a strong, dark page color and distinctive broken strokes, pairing ornate capitals with a disciplined lowercase for impactful display typography.

In continuous text the tight counters and strong vertical rhythm produce a highly textured line that reads best at larger sizes, where the broken forms and spurs remain distinct. The sample shows a clear emphasis on sharp corners and wedge terminals rather than rounded, humanist curves, reinforcing a carved or pen-cut impression.
