A tightly compressed serif with strong vertical emphasis and pronounced thick–thin contrast. Stems are heavy and dark, while joins and hairlines taper sharply, creating a crisp, chiseled texture. Serifs are bracketed and relatively small but assertive, with pointed, wedge-like finishing on many strokes. Counters are compact and mostly vertical in feel, and the overall rhythm is tall and dense, producing a distinctly “condensed headline” silhouette across both capitals and lowercase.

Best suited for headlines, mastheads, poster typography, and cover work where a compact width and strong contrast can create punch without taking much horizontal space. It can also work well on packaging or signage when you want a bold, classic-seriffed voice with heightened drama.

The font projects a bold, old-world confidence with a theatrical edge. Its narrow, towering forms and razorlike tapering lend a sense of urgency and spectacle—more proclamation than conversation—while still reading as classic serif typography rather than novelty display.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact in a condensed footprint, combining classic serif structure with exaggerated contrast and sharp tapering to create a distinctive, attention-grabbing display texture.

In the sample text, the dense color and tight interior spaces make the face feel most comfortable at larger sizes, where the contrast and fine tapering can read cleanly. Numerals match the condensed, high-impact voice and maintain the same sharp finishing and verticality for consistent set text in display settings.
