This serif shows extreme thick–thin contrast with knife-like hairlines and bold main strokes that flare subtly at terminals, giving the letterforms a carved, sculptural presence. The proportions read on the wide side with generous internal space in rounds and open counters, while curves are crisp and tightly controlled. Serifs and stroke endings often resolve into pointed, wedge-like shapes rather than blunt slabs, and joins create lively, calligraphic tension. Lowercase forms keep a moderate x-height with pronounced ascenders/descenders, supporting an elegant rhythm in text despite the display-forward contrast.

Best suited to headlines, magazine typography, and brand identities where an elegant, high-contrast serif can set a premium tone. It will also work well for posters and packaging titles, especially when given enough size and breathing room to preserve the fine hairlines.

The overall tone is refined and theatrical, combining high-fashion polish with a slightly dramatic, showpiece attitude. It feels premium and editorial, suited to contexts where contrast and silhouette are meant to be noticed.

The design appears intended to modernize classic high-contrast serif construction with subtly flared stroke endings and sharp terminal detailing, creating a distinctive silhouette for contemporary editorial and branding use.

In the sample text, the strong verticals and delicate hairlines create a striking light–dark pattern at larger sizes, while tight apertures and thin cross-strokes suggest the design will reward careful sizing and spacing. Numerals and capitals carry the same flared, tapered logic, keeping a consistent, display-oriented voice across the set.
