A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and fine hairline serifs that often end in sharp, tapered points. The structure feels classically proportioned with a slightly narrow, elegant rhythm and clear vertical stress. Curves (C, G, O, Q) are smooth and disciplined, while joins and terminals show a subtly calligraphic, chiseled finish. Lowercase forms are crisp and compact, with a two-storey a and g, a narrow r, and a tall, clean italic-less stance; numerals follow the same contrast and sharp finishing, with a distinctive curled tail on 9 and a delicate, angled top on 7.

Best suited to editorial settings such as magazine headlines and subheads, book covers, and high-end branding where contrast and refinement are desirable. It also fits formal printed pieces like invitations and programs. For extended small-size reading, it will benefit from generous spacing and good reproduction conditions to preserve the delicate hairlines.

The overall tone is polished and formal, projecting a premium, fashion-forward sensibility with a literary, old-world poise. Its sharp hairlines and sculpted details add drama and sophistication, making it feel ceremonial and high-end rather than casual.

The design appears intended to evoke a modernized classical serif: elegant proportions, dramatic contrast, and sharply finished serifs aimed at conveying prestige and clarity in display and editorial typography.

In text, the thin horizontals and hairline serifs create sparkle and a lively texture, while the stronger verticals keep the page orderly. The capitals read especially authoritative and monumental, and the ampersand and punctuation carry the same precise, cut-stone refinement.
